QuickEtch is a biodegradable concrete etching compound specially designed to profile the surfaces of both green (fresh) and mature concrete. The depth of the etching achieved with this product is the same as hydrochloric or muriatic acid with 80% less odor and a more uniform etch than liquid etch materials. Safer to use than hydrochloric or muriatic acid, the residue is easily removed by rinsing with water. The gelled form of QuickEtch provides a profiling solution with low/no dust compared with sandblasting, grinding or shotblasting. (Not to be used as a cleaner).

Use QuickEtch with Modello's easy to-use decorative masking patterns to etch a non-slip decorative pattern. The longer you leave QuickEtch on the suface, the deeper the etch will be.

Note: This product is a professional grade solution developed for professional installers who are experienced and trained in the use of this type of product.

Coverage is approximately 50 - 150 square feet (5-9 square meters) per gallon. Available in 1 and 5 gallon containers.

Note: EcoAcid is primarily used to clean the surface in preparation for staining with Concrete Color Stains. It will (slightly) etch a non-porous substrate, especially when compared to QuickEtch, which is used to thoroughly etch/profile your concrete and completely open the surface pores in preparation for staining with concrete color stains.
